Our group relies so heavily on technology to keep in touch. In fact, we regularly contact each other using every medium available - text, Gchat, Google Hangout, e-mail, etc. - and it really helps us keep connected.
That said, it’s kind of fun to reflect just how far technology has come (and in such a short frame of time). I recently found this YouTube channel that has quite a few odes to some of the more humble beginnings (The Joy of ASCII with Bob Ross is so wrong but The Wikipedia in the 80’s is pretty amazing).
If you find yourself cursing your “old” iPhone 4, these videos are definitely worth a watch.
